My Fairytale Ending

Hey, it is me, Quinn. I am the German Shepherd wannabe in the pack. I was taken in by the nice lady that also helped Newman. She contacted German Shepherd Safe Haven and they decided to make me part of the rescue pack. I got to spend time with a lot of dogs in my foster home. I was kinda shy at first because I was the new kid on the block but after a little while, I got used to everyone. I could play for hours and not have to play with the same dog twice, how fun is that! I went on a couple meet and greets but the people were just not the right fit for me. Then one day, I heard my foster dad talking to someone on the phone about me. He was saying that I am a great dog and would probably fit with their family pretty well. We met that family at a park and wow, I was pretty overwhelmed at first because there were six people their all wanting to pet me. I couldn’t believe so many people wanted to give me all this love. We were there for quite a while, they walked me and talked about how wonderful I am and how much they wanted to adopt me. I felt so special and wanted, like I was a movie star on the red carpet! I heard my foster mom and dad talking to them, saying they had to do a home visit and that they would do it a few days later. They were going to bring me with them to make sure I would be okay with their cats. I met the cats and was curious but because they didn’t pay too much attention to me, I didn’t make a big deal about meeting them. Everyone was impressed with how behaved I was. So far so good, I thought! My foster dad brought me home and the next couple of days, he made some calls to just make sure that family is a good family and would take the best care of me. I already had a really good feeling about them though and I was right because my foster dad then called my new mom to set up the adoption day. On that day, I was so excited on the car ride over there. I kept going back and forth to both sides of the car, looking out the window. I kept thinking are we there yet? Finally, we arrived and everyone was there to welcome me to my new home. Oh my gosh, more petting and so much love all around me, just what I have been waiting for all my life! I walked into my home and ran around checking everything out. I have a nice yard to play in and a big house to call my very own. My new mom & dad said that I can sleep in their bedroom or with any one of the kids in their rooms, it was my choice! The kids love to to surf so they can’t wait to take me along on their trips to the beach. My dad is also planning on taking me on road trips with him when he has to go out of town for work, how fun is that and I might be able to convince him to let me ride in the front with him. And every morning is my special time with my mom, that’s when we go for our walks around this nice lake so I can strut my stuff like a Hollywood star on the red carpet. You know, I am cute enough to outshine any one of those Hollywood dogs but who needs Hollywood when I’ve got my fairytale ending!
