Lacey
Hello, my name is Lacey. I am a 7 year old spayed female. I am good with other dogs but can be assertive at first and will correct any dogs that are annoying me. But to be honest, I have been corrected by a much smaller dog and did not fight back so I am not overly dominant. I’m not a big fan of cats though, I like dogs better. I love my crate and lots of times I like to go in there on my own and relax. It’s my safe place and I always have bones and toys in there too so it’s not boring. I’m also house trained and know that I’m supposed to take care of business outside. I love to go on walks and am good on a leash but I love to sniff around so I like nice, long leisurely walks where I can take my time and smell everything! When I see other dogs on my walk, I get excited and want to meet them. I’m a little shy but I like to meet new people especially if they give me love. One of my favorite things in the world is belly rubs! I will roll over for you in a second if I know you will give me a belly rub because they are simply the best! I also like to roll around on the dog bed and act silly to make my foster mom laugh. I love to get lots of love and attention and give kisses in return to let you know I love you too!
My foster brother taught me how to play so we run around the yard and play together. Even though I am older than him, he is impressed I can keep up with him! I’m really a young girl at heart and just love to play. I also like to kick back and relax too. When my foster mom is working at her desk, sometimes I would just lay at her feet so she knows I’m there for her when she needs me. I also like to lay on the couch and watch tv after dinnertime. I’m a sweet gal who will be loyal and faithful to you forever so please consider me as your next dog!
