Hello, my name is Kingston. I am a 1 year old neutered male. I was a stray for a very long time with my mom Lacey but those days are behind us. Now all I worry about every day is how to convince my foster brother to play with me all day long. He’s become my best bud and we play so well together but sometimes I have more energy than he does. But that’s okay because if I’m not playing with him, I’m playing with my mom Lacey! Yes we are back together again! I missed her when I was in a different foster home but it was good for me because I learned that she doesn’t have to be there to protect me from the world. And I also learned that the world isn’t bad at all when you have a family that loves you and dogs to play with. I feel like I’m a big boy now, all grown up. I love my mom but I told her she doesn’t have to protect me anymore, I rather have her be my friend. I think she was glad about that! We relax, play and have lots of fun together, I really like having her be my friend!
I get along great with dogs and I love to play with toys! I especially like the squeaky toys and any other toys that make noise. I like to play tug-a-war and chase balls but I don’t always bring the balls back. I’m good on walks and when I see other dogs, sometimes I will bark at them but it’s because I want to meet them and see if they want to play with me. I am good at meeting new people but sometimes I can be a little shy and reserved until I get to know you. My foster mom says that is the Shepherd in me! But once I get to know you, I love to give and get love. Don’t be surprised if you get hugs and kisses from me or if I want to climb in your lap and hang out with you. I’m house trained and crate trained. The best family for me would be one that has another dog I can play and hang out with.
